PRAYER TO MOTHER MARY FOR PROTECTION

We fly to your protection, most holy Mother of God; please listen to our petitions and needs, and deliver us from all dangers, ever glorious and blessed Virgin Mary.

Mary, our model and mother, by your obedience and patience you have taught us how to be true children of God. Please help us by your powerful assistance to overcome all our weaknesses, and to fulfill perfectly our tasks in life.

By your compassionate aid may we ever stand in spirit with you beneath the cross of Christ so that we may also rejoice with you in your divine Son’s triumphant victory over sin and death.

In your maternal kindness help us to be faithful to prayers in the company of God’s Church as you were one with the Apostles in the upper room as you waited for the promised Spirit of Pentecost.

With your gracious assistance may we be near you in the glory of Christ’s kingdom come to sing with you and all the faithful the eternal praise of God.

PRAYER TO MARY, MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP

MOST HOLY IMMACULATE VIRGIN MARY,

 my Mother, I, the most miserable of all sinners - have recourse to you today, the Mother of my LORD JESUS CHRIST. I venerate you, O great Queen, and thank you for all the graces you have obtained for me, especially for having delivered me from hell, which I have so often deserved. I LOVE YOU, O my very kind sovereign, and for your love, I commit myself to serve you forever, and tend all my efforts to make you loved by others too. Next to your most Divine Son, I place all my Hopes and all my Salvation in you.

Accept me as your servant, and receive me under your protection, O Mother of Mercies. And since you are so powerful with GOD, deliver me from all temptations or obtain for me the strength to conquer them until death.

O MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP, by the love that you have for GOD, I pray that you will always assist me, but most of all at the last moment of my life. Do not abandon me until you see me safe in heaven, occupied to bless you and to sing your mercies for all eternity. This is my Hope.

Prayer for Financial Help to Our Mother of Perpetual Help

O dear Mother of all,

you who are the perpetual help,

not only in spiritual

but also in temporal needs,

we ask you to help us in the present

because of financial worries.

Due to unavoidable circumstances

that have arisen in our lives,

we are in great financial need

and shame has taken over our home,

as we are unable to meet our debts.

We are not asking, O dear Mother of

Perpetual Help, for wealth

if it is not in accordance with God’s will.

We are simply asking for divine

assistance to help us resolve our

present day obligations.

We believe, dear Holy Mother of God,

that you are extremely kind and

generous to all your loving

and dedicated children.

We therefore beg you, dear Mother,

to grant us the help we urgently need.

We are trying very hard to solve

our problem(s) with all our

humanly possible strength,

but we believe that with your

powerful intercession

with the Lord, Jesus Christ,

your Son and our Redeemer,

you can relieve us of these burdens.
