Sorrowful Mystery of the Holy Rosary
The SORROWFUL MYSTERIES of the Holy ROSARY are a profound and reflective set of prayers that invite believers to meditate on significant events in the life of Jesus Christ. These mysteries focus on the intense suffering and sacrifice of Jesus, leading up to His crucifixion and death. As we contemplate these sorrowful moments, we are reminded of the immense love and redemption that Christ offered to humanity through His passion. The Sorrowful Mysteries invite us to enter into the depth of Christ's mercy and to find solace and strength in His unwavering example of love and obedience to God's will. Through the recitation of the rosary, we accompany the Blessed Virgin Mary in meditating on these sacred events, seeking comfort and guidance in our own trials and tribulations.
In this mystery of the Rosary, Let us ponder and pray that the Holy spirit will enlighten us how the fruit applies to its respective mystery and to embody that fruit in our own life. As we meditate on the fruits of the Sorrowful Mysteries, Lord, open our hearts to receive the fruits and we ask Jesus and Mary to reveal where we can grow in that fruit. May the grace of YOur Agony, Lord, come down into our soul and make us truly contrite and perfectly obedient to Your holy will.

Various Prayers to Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name, the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying. Purest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you. (Mention your intention then say three Hail Marys).
PRAYER FOR THE HOME
MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP * WE CHOOSE YOU AS QUEEN OF OUR HOMES. WE ASK YOU TO BLESS ALL OUR FAMILIES * WITH YOUR TENDER MOTHERLY LOVE. MAY THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE * BIND HUSBANDS AND WIVES SO CLOSELY TOGETHER * THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS BE FAITHFUL TO EACH OTHER * AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST LOVES HIS CHURCH.
WE ASK YOU TO BLESS ALL PARENTS. MAY THEY LOVE AND CHERISH THE CHILDREN * WHOM GOD HAS ENTRUSTED TO THEM. MAY THEY ALWAYS GIVE THEM THE EXAMPLE * OF A TRULY CHRISTIAN LIFE. HELP THEM TO BRING UP THEIR CHILDREN * IN THE LOVE AND FEAR OF GOD. BLESS ALL CHILDREN * THAT THEY MAY LOVE, HONOR AND OBEY * THEIR FATHERS AND MOTHERS. TO YOUR LOVING CARE * WE ESPECIALLY ENTRUST THE YOUTH OF TODAY.
GIVE US ALL A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY * THAT WE MAY DO OUR PART * IN MAKING OUR HOME A HAVEN OF PEACE * LIKE YOUR OWN HOME AT NAZARETH. WE TAKE YOU AS OUR MODEL. HELP US TO GROW DAILY IN GENUINE LOVE OF GOD AND NEIGHBOR * SO THAT JUSTICE AND PEACE MAY HAPPILY REIGN * IN THE ENTIRE FAMILY OF MANKIND. AMEN.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.
Prayer to Our Mother of Perpetual Help ~ Financial Help
Realizing, dear Mother Mary,
that thou art our Perpetual Help not only in spiritual
but likewise in temporal necessities,
we approach thee with submissive and humble hearts,
because we have a child-like confidence in thy power and goodness, beseeching thee to assist us in our present financial worry. Owing to untoward circumstances which have arisen in our lives, we are in dire want, being unable to meet our honest debts.
We are not asking, dearest Mother for wealth,
if possession of it is not in accordance with the holy will of God;
we merely beg for that assistance which will enable us
to satisfy our pressing obligations.
We believe, dear Mother,
that thou art the Queen of heaven and earth,
and, as such, the instrument and special dispensation of thy Son Jesus Christ; that thou hast acquired by virtue of thy wonderful dignity, a sweet jurisdiction over all creation.
We believe that thou art not only rich and bountiful,
but extremely kind and generous to all thy loving children.
We plead with thee then, dear Mother,
to obtain for us the help we so urgently need in our present financial difficulty. We thank thee, dear Lady and promise to publish far and wide, the marvels of thy glorious Picture. Amen!
Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Thank you for being there for us always, for your intercession in all our prayers especially in difficult circumstances.Amen.

THE SERENITY PRAYER
This Serenity Prayer is considered a request to God asking for peace and calmness in anything that life has to offer. The prayer requests for courage and strength to change what man is capable of changing and to accept with humility the things he cannot change.
Therefore, when we find ourselves in difficult situations that we cannot fathom or move away from, at home, places of work, in Church, in the neighborhood or country, the Serenity Prayer is very powerful in pacifying the turbulence in the heart, soul and mind.
The Serenity Prayer
God, grant me the Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change…
Courage to change the things I can,
And Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.
Amen.

PRAYER FOR THE NEW YEAR
May the Lord make my New Year a happy one...
Not by shielding me from sorrow and pain, but by strengthening me to bear it if it comes.
Not by making my path easy, but by making me sturdy enough to tread any path.
Not by taking hardship from me, but by taking all cowardice and fear from my heart as I meet hardships.
Not by granting me unbroken sunshine, but by keeping my face bright even in the shadows.
Not by making my life always pleasant, but by showing me where men and His cause need me most and by making me zealous to be there and to help...
God, make my year a happy one.

Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus
THE HOLY FACE DEVOTION
Devotion of St. Therese of Lisieux
PRAYERS OF REPARATION TO THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS
...As requested by Our Lord Jesus Christ. These prayers are to be said on Sundays and the Holy Days of Obligation, publicly (if possible), and preferably before the Blessed Sacrament or before the picture of the Holy Face.
Dear Lord, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, I (we) offer You these prayers in reparation for the sins which offend God the most in these modern times--the sins of BLASPHEMY and the PROFANATION OF SUNDAY and Your Holy Days of Obligation:
One Our Father, Hail Mary,
and Glory Be To The Father
LITANY OF THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS
I salute Thee, I adore Thee and I love Thee, O adorable Face of Jesus, my Beloved, noble Seal of the Divinity! Outraged anew by blasphemers. I offer Thee, through the heart of Thy blessed Mother, the worship of all the Angels and Saints, most humbly beseeching Thee to repair and renew in me and in all men Thy Image disfigured by sin.
O adorable Face which was adored, with profound respect, by Mary and Joseph when they saw Thee for the first time, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which did ravish with joy, in the stable of Bethlehem, the Angels, the shepherds and the magi, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which did transpierce with a dart of love in the Temple, the saintly old man Simeon and the prophetess Anna, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which filled with admiration the Doctors of the law when Thou didst appear in the Temple at the age of twelve years, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which possesses beauty always ancient and always new, have mercy...
O adorable Face which is the masterpiece of the Holy Ghost, in which the Eternal Father is well pleased, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which is the ineffable mirror of the divine perfection, have mercy on us.
Adorable Face of Jesus which was so mercifully bowed down on the Cross, on the day of Thy Passion, for the salvation of the world! Once more today in pity bend down towards us poor sinners. Cast upon us a glance of compassion and give us Thy peace.
O adorable Face which became brilliant like the sun and radiant with glory, on the Mountain of Tabor, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which wept and was troubled at the tomb of Lazarus, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which was rendered sad at the sight of Jerusalem, and shed tears on that ungrateful city, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which was bowed down to the ground in the Garden of Olives, and covered with confusion for our sins, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which was covered with the sweat of blood, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which was struck by a vile servant, covered with a veil of shame, and profaned by the sacrilegious hands of Thy enemies, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which by Its divine glance, wounded the heart of St. Peter with a dart of sorrow and love, have mercy on us.
Be merciful to us, O my God! Do not reject our prayers, when in the midst of our afflictions, we call upon Thy Holy Name and seek with love and confidence Thy adorable Face.
O adorable Face which was washed and anointed by Mary and the holy women and covered with a shroud, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which was all resplendent with glory and beauty on the day of the Resurrection, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which is hidden in the Eucharist, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which will appear at the end of time in the clouds with great power and great majesty, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which will make sinners tremble, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which will fill the just with joy for all eternity, have mercy on us.
O adorable Face which merits all our reverence, our homage and our adoration, have mercy on us.
O Lord, show us Thy Face, and we shall be saved!
O Lord, show us Thy Face, and we shall be saved!
O Lord, show us Thy Face, and we shall be saved!
Note: The Litany of the Holy Face above, and the same Litany in our pamphlets, is the abridged version, as the full version is quite lengthy. Here is the full-length Litany of the Holy Face.
PRAYER TO OFFER THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS TO GOD THE FATHER TO APPEASE HIS JUSTICE AND DRAW DOWN MERCY UPON US
Almighty and Eternal Father, since it has pleased Our Divine Savior to reveal to mankind in modern times the power residing in His Holy Face, we now avail ourselves of this Treasure in our great need. Since our Savior Himself promised that by offering to You His Holy Face disfigured in the Passion we can procure the settlement of all the affairs of our household, and that nothing whatsoever will be refused to us, we now come before Your throne.
Eternal Father, turn away Your angry gaze from our guilty people whose face has become unsightly in Your eyes. Look instead upon the Face of Your Beloved Son; for this is the Face of Him in whom You are well pleased. We now offer You His Holy Face covered with blood, sweat, dust, spittle and shame, in reparation for the worst crimes of our age, which are atheism, blasphemy, and the desecration of Your holy days. We thus hope to appease Your anger justly provoked against us. The All-Merciful Advocate opens His mouth to plead our cause; listen to His cries, behold His tears, O God, and through the merits of His Holy Face hearken to Him when He intercedes for us poor miserable sinners.

PRAYER TO THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE, JESUS CHRIST
PRAYER TO CHRIST THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE
O Christ Jesus, I acknowledge thee King of the Universe.
All that has been created has been made for thee.
Exercise over me all thy sovereign rights.
I renew the promises of my Baptism.
I renounce Satan and all his works, and all his pomps, and I promise to live a good Christian life and to do all in my power to procure the triumph of the rights of God and thy Church.
Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer thee my poor efforts in order to obtain that all hearts may acknowledge thy Sacred Royalty, and that thus the Kingdom of thy peace may be established throughout the Universe.
Amen.

St. Benedict Novena Prayers
St. Benedict's feast day is July 11th but you can pray the St. Benedict Novena for any reason that you want, so go ahead and start praying!
St. Benedict is a popular saint, known primarily for the Benedictines, who are named after him, and for composing the Rule. There are words in the novena prayers which are quotes from the prologue of Benedict’s Rule, so that we may not only ask for his intercession, but also ask him to pray with us using the words he himself wrote. The Rule combines spiritual and administrative wisdom to provide guidance for the religious who wish to follow the monastic lifestyle. It includes a schedule for daily life tasks such as when to pray, work, and sleep. Many religious orders around Benedict’s time adopted it for their own religious orders and many still use it today. But it is not just those in religious orders whose lives seem to follow some kind of “rule.” This novena will pray for all those who are subject to and disciplined by schedules, either in accordance with or against their wills.
St. Benedict was born in Nursia, Italy around 500 AD. Born into a wealthy family, he was sent to Rome to finish his studies, but he left Rome before finishing because of the sinfulness in the city. He became a hermit under the monk, Romanus. Some monks sought out St. Benedict to live according to his ways, but he warned the monks that it would be too strict for them. They insisted, and once they found that Benedict had been correct, they decided to poison him. When St. Benedict blessed the poisoned wine that they offered him, the glass shattered, saving his life. Benedict left them and established twelve monasteries. It was for his monastery in Monte Cassino that he wrote the Rule for which he is known. The Rule, based on the writings of saints and the existing tradition of Christian monasticism, provides guidance for how to practically live the monastic life. It designates sufficient time for daily prayer and meditation, manual work, leisure, and sleep. It provides instruction on spirituality (e.g., obedience, humility), daily life practices (e.g., how to dress, how much food to eat at meals), and specifics concerning how to run a monastery (e.g., how to receive guests and handle unacceptable behavior from the monks). St. Gregory wrote a biography on St. Benedict, which is how we know some of the details concerning his life (though it is not written in a way that we would think of as a biography). He wrote it primarily to inspire the people at a time when there was political conflict and conflict in the Church, so that they could better recognize that God was still working through His people.
May it still lift our spirits to know that there are Benedicts in the world even today, who show us that God is still with us in every age throughout history.
St. Benedict Novena Prayers
St. Benedict Novena - Day 1
Holy St. Benedict, I ask that you pray with me now to our God, using your words for the intentions that are written on my heart. What can be sweeter to us, dear ones, than this voice of the Lord inviting us? Behold, in His loving kindness the Lord shows us the way of life. Let us ask the Lord that He supply by the help of His grace what is impossible to us by nature. (State your intentions here) Today, I offer to God the burdens that I experience with my own routine, for the sake of those who are in religious orders, in a particular way for those living according to Benedict’s Rule. May they find God through the discipline of their schedules. Having our loins girded, therefore, with faith and the performance of good works (Eph. 6:14), let us walk in His paths by the guidance of the Gospel, that we may deserve to see Him who has called us to His kingdom (1 Thess. 2:12). Amen.St. Benedict Novena - Day 2
