A POWERFUL PRAYER ASKING GOD TO DISCIPLE OUR CHILDREN

Image result for praying hands"All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children” (Isaiah 54:13).

Do you ever worry about your children? Do you get concerned about their welfare, their decisions, and the state of their hearts?

When times are hard, go to the Lord and ask God Himself to disciple your children. Say this prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before You in Jesus’ name. Father, thank You for hearing my prayer right now. Thank You for loving me and knowing me. Thank You for allowing me to come boldly before Your throne of grace, that I may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Father, Your Word says that You Yourself will disciple and teach my children. Your Word says that, when you do this, great will be the peace and shalom of my children.
Lord, my children need this. I can’t fix them, Lord. I can’t help them. I have tried and tried and tried. But Father, I can’t do it.
But Holy Father, my most wonderful Father God, YOU CAN.
So Father, in Jesus’ name, I lift up my children to You right now. I choose to release them to You. Father, please take them out of my hands. They are Yours.
Father, I ask in Jesus’ name that You Yourself would take my children under Your wing. Disciple them, Lord. Teach them. Give them wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Fill them with the intimate knowledge of Your glory. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and Your anointing.
Father, in Jesus’ name, give my children inspiration to seek You first and seek Your Kingdom. Fill them  with Your motivation and courage and hope. Cause them to be sensitive to You and Your Presence.
Give them wisdom, Lord–wisdom from above, which is pure and peaceable and undefiled and willing to yield and full of mercy and good fruit. Give them wisdom by experience. Help them to learn from their experiences and from the experience of others.
Father, I ask in Jesus’ name that You would give my children understanding. Fill them with Your Word and keep them from sinning against You. Let them receive Your great love for them, love You back with the same love You love them with, and love others the way You do. Let them love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Make them humble and moldable and teachable, Father. Increase their capacity for prayer, fasting, and Your Word. Give my children a heart to worship You like Jesus has.
Father, in Jesus’ name, I call forth the finished works You have prepared before the foundation of the world for my children, and I command them to manifest right now. I speak to my children and I say:
Will of God, come forth in Jesus’ name and be done in my children on earth as it is in Heaven!
Love of God, be revealed in their hearts in Jesus’ name!
Peace of God, joy of the Lord, righteousness of Christ, come forth in my children in Jesus’ name!
Kingdom of God, come in my children in Jesus’ name!
Holiness, purity, revelation, and glory of God, come forth in my children in Jesus’ name right now!
Father, my children are Yours. Thank You for discipling them according to Your promise. Thank You for bringing them into great peace and shalom. Thank You that my children will walk in total healing, total restoration, and the fullness of Your perfect will for them … because You Yourself will do it.
Thank You, Father. I give You all the praise. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If you will pray this radical promise back to God, God Himself will disciple Your children and bring them into great shalom.

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father,

Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive
those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

NOVENA TO
SAINT EXPEDITUS

[Whenever possible, recite this Novena before the Most Blessed Sacrament.]

Act of Contrition

My Lord Jesus Christ,
Father of endless charity
I am heartily sorry for all my sins.
Grant me therefore pardon of my sins
and the grace I ask of you
thru the merits of the sorrows of your loving Mother
and the virtues of Your martyr, St. Expeditus.

Concluding Prayer:

Oh St. Expeditus, my protector,
in you I place my hope
that my petitions may be granted
if they are for my own good.
Please ask our Lord,
through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin,
for the forgiveness of my sins,
and the grace to change my life,
particularly the grace...

(Mention the particular grace desired...)

and I promise to follow your examples
and will propagate this devotion to you.

Day 1

O Glorious Martyr, St Expeditus,
through the lively faith which was granted you by God,
I ask you to awaken the same faith in my heart,
that I may also believe wholeheartedly
that there is God,
but most particularly that I may be saved
from sinning against Him.

Pray 3 Our Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

Day 2

O Glorious Martyr, St. Expeditus,
through the enviable hope given you by God,
pray that those of little belief
may be penetrated by some rays of hope
so that they may also receive eternal things,
please pray that ardent hope in God
be also given me
and hold me steadfast in the midst of sufferings.

Pray 3 Our
Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

Day 3

Oh Glorious Martyr, St. Expeditus,
through the endless love
which our Lord planted in your heart,
please remove from mine all shackles tied by worldliness,
that without them I may love only God in all eternity.

Amen.

Pray 3 Our Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

Day 4

Oh Glorious Martyr, St. Expeditus
who knew fully well the teaching of the Divine Teacher
to carry the cross and follow Him,
ask Him, for the Graces I need
that I may fight my own passions.

Pray 3 Our Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

Day 5

Oh Glorious Martyr, St. Expeditus,
through the bountiful graces you received from Heaven,
that you may conserve all your virtues,
grant also that I may get rid of all the feelings
that block my way to heaven.

Pray 3 Our Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

Day 6

Oh Glorious Martyr, St. Expeditus,
through the sufferings and humiliations
which you received for the love of God,
grant me also this grace which is very pleasing to God,
and free me from angers and hardness of heart
which is the stumbling block of my soul.

PrayOur Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

Day 7

Oh Glorious Martyr, St. Expeditus,
you know that prayer is the golden key
that will open the Kingdom of Heaven,
teach me to pray in a manner
which is desirable to Our Lord
and to His Heart,
that I may only live only for Him,
that I may die only for Him,
and that I may pray only to Him in all eternity.

Pray Our Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

Day 8

O Glorious Martyr, Saint Expeditus,
through the clean desire that reigned in all your feelings,
word and actions,
please let them guide me also in my endless search
for the glory of God
and the good of my fellowmen.

Pray Our Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

Day 9

Oh Glorious Martyr, St. Expeditus,
who was so much loved by the Queen of Heaven
that you nothing was denied,
ask her, please, my advocate,
that through the sufferings of her Divine Son
and her own sorrows,
I may receive this day the grace I ask of you,
but above all the grace to die first
before I commit any mortal sin.

Pray Our Father... in honor of the Most Holy Trinity.

Say the Concluding Prayer mentioned above.

I.) First Prayer
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
full of goodness,
show your love towards us.
Let the flame of your heart,
O Mary, descend on all people.
We love you immensely.
Impress true love in our hearts
so that we have a continuous desire for you.
O Mary, gentle and humble of heart, remember us when we are in sin.
You know that all men sin.
Give us, by means of your Immaculate Heart, spiritual health.
Let us always see the goodness of your motherly heart
and may we be converted by means of the flame of your heart.
Amen.
II.) Second Prayer
Immaculate Heart of Mary,
full of love for God and mankind,
and of compassion for sinners,
I consecrate myself to you.
I entrust to you the salvation of my soul.
May my heart be ever united with yours,
so that I may hate sin,
love God and my neighbor,
and reach eternal life with those whom I love.
May I experience the kindness of your motherly heart
and the power of your intercession with Jesus
during my life and at the hour of my death.
Amen.
III.) Third Prayer
Prostrate at thy sacred feet,
O august Queen of Heaven,
I venerate thee with the most profound respect,
and I believe that thou art the daughter of the Eternal Father,
the Mother of His Divine Son,
and the Spouse of the Holy Ghost.
Full of grace and virtues and heavenly gifts,
thou art the purest temple of the most Holy Trinity,
thou art the treasury and dispenser of divine mercy.
Thy Immaculate Heart, full of charity, sweetness and tenderness,
has given thee the name of Mother of Divine Clemency.
Therefore, in my affliction
and agony I present myself with confidence before thee,
our most loving Mother,
and I pray thee to make me experience the love which thou bearest us;
Grant me (specify the favor)
if it be the Will of God and for the good of my soul.
Amen.
IV.) Fourth Prayer
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
refuge of sinners,
I beg of you by the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
and by the graces God has granted to you since your Immaculate Conception,
the grace of never going astray again.
Mother, keep me, a sinner,
constantly bathed in the light of your Immaculate Heart.
Amen.
V.) Fifth Prayer
In the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I Trust
Look to the Star
Call upon Mary!
In danger, in difficulty
or in doubt,
think of Mary,
call upon Mary,
Keep her name on your lips,
Never let it pass out of your heart.
Following in her footsteps,
you will not go astray:
praying to her,
you will not
fall into despair:
thinking of her you will not err.
While she keeps hold of your hand,
you will not fall …
you will not grow weary …
you will have no fear …
Enjoying her protection,
you will reach the goal.
