CONSECRATION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART.

O MARY, Virgin most powerful and Mother of mercy, Queen of heaven and Refuge of sinners, we consecrate ourselves to your Immaculate Heart. We consecrate to you our very being and our whole life; all that we have, all that we love, all that we are. To you we give our bodies, our hearts and our souls; to you we give our homes, our families, our country. We desire that all that is in us and around us may belong to you, and may share in the benefits of your motherly benediction.

And that this act of consecration may be truly efficacious and lasting, we renew this day at your feet the promises of our Baptism and our first Holy Communion. We pledge ourselves to profess courageously and at all times the truths, of our Holy Faith,and to live as Catholics who are duly submissive to all the directions of the Pope and the Bishops in communion with him. We pledge ourselves to keep the commandments of God and His Church, in particular to keep holy the Lord’s day. We likewise pledge ourselves to make the consoling practices of the Christian religion, and above all, Holy Communion, an integral part of our lives, in so far as we shall be able to do so.

Finally, we promise you, O glorious Mother of God and loving Mother of all, to devote ourselves whole-heartedly to your service, in order to hasten and assure, through the sovereignty of your Immaculate Heart, the coming of the kingdom of the Sacred Heart of your adorable Son, in our own hearts and in the hearts of all, in our country and in all the world, as in heaven, so on earth.

O most holy Virgin, Mary, who evermore stands before the most holy Trinity, and to whom it is granted at all times to pray for us to your most beloved Son; pray for in all my necessities; help me, protect me, and obtain for me the pardon of all my sins. Help me especially at my last hour; and when I can no longer give any sign of the use of reason, then encourage me, make the sign of the cross for me, and fight for me against the enemy. Make in my name a profession of faith; favor me with a testimony of my salvation, and never let me despair of the mercy of God. Help me to overthrow the tempting enemy.

When I can no longer say: “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I place my soul in your hands,” I ask you to say it to me; when I can longer hear human words of consolation, comfort me. Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, I Consecrate my entire self to the Most Holy Love of Your Two Hearts. I Wish to make reparation for all the sins of the world, including my own. I offer these things for the love of the Hearts of JESUS and MARY. I will keep my mind on beauty and turn my thoughts from evil things.I will not show off, but remain humble. O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings, all that this day may bring, be they good or bad: for the love of God, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

PRAYER FOR THE SICK

Physical Healing

Lord, I come before you trusting in your mercy and love.

I come before you with faith in your promise that you shall
grant whatever we ask for in prayer if it will be what is best for our soul.
Lord, heal me of my (kind of sickness).
Touch me now in the areas of my body that need most of your healing love.
Let the warmth of your healing love penetrate every cell,
every nerve and tissue in my sick body.
Replace these sick cells with new and healthy cells.
Cast out anything that should not be in me.
Cleanse all infections, remove all inflammations, open any blocked arteries
or veins and rebuild all damaged areas.
Strengthen my body, my mind, emotions and spirit and with that
same power by which you created me, heal me and recreate me, Lord.
Restore me to full health in body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Give me the grace to accept this pain and suffering with patient resignation
to your most Holy will and plan for my life.
Have mercy on me and forgive my sins.
Let me find peace amidst my suffering and offer it for the salvation of souls,
especially those of my family and loved ones.
With eyes of faith, let me see the blessings out of this physical sickness.
And after I have been healed, may I be a witness of your healing
