PRAYER TO THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS

PRAYER TO THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS

O Most Precious Blood of Jesus, infinite price of the redemption of sinful humanity, solace and refreshment of our souls, you continuously foster our cause before the throne of Supreme Mercy.  I profoundly adore you and want, as much as possible, to make reparation for the insults and disrespect you receive from human beings, especially from those who dare to blaspheme.

Who will not bless this Blood of infinite value!  Who would not be set aflame with love toward Jesus who shed this Blood?  Who would I be if this Divine Blood had not redeemed me?  Who removed it from the veins of my Lord to the last drop?  Love did it!  O immense love, which bestowed upon us this saving balm!  O immeasurable balm which sprang from a spring of immense love, may all hearts and languages praise you, exult you and give you thanks now and forever. Amen.

Prayer of Trust

My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me.

I cannot know where it will end.

Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think that I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.

But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you.

And I hope I have that desire in all I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire.

And I know that if I do this, you will lead me by the right road, though I may seem to be lost in the shadow of death.

I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone.

Special Prayer for End to War in Ukraine by Pope Francis

Pope Francis recites a special prayer imploring God to forgive us for war, especially the war in Ukraine.

He made his own a prayer composed by the Italian Archbishop of Naples, Domenico Battaglia, making a few minor additions.

The Pope pleads with God to forgive all of humanity for the brutality of war, which he said turns our hands—created to care and tend the earth—into instruments of death.

Below is an unofficial translation of the Pope’s prayer:

Forgive us for war, O Lord.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us sinners!
Lord Jesus, born in the shadows of bombs falling on Kyiv, have mercy on us!
Lord Jesus, who died in a mother’s arms in a bunker in Kharkiv, have mercy on us!
Lord Jesus, a 20-year-old sent to the frontlines, have mercy on us!
Lord Jesus, who still behold armed hands in the shadow of your Cross, have mercy on us!

Forgive us, O Lord.

Forgive us, if we are not satisfied with the nails with which we crucified Your hands, as we continue to slate our thirst with the blood of those mauled by weapons.
Forgive us, if these hands which You created to tend have been transformed into instruments of death.
Forgive us, O Lord, if we continue to kill our brother;
Forgive us, if we continue like Cain to pick up the stones of our fields to kill Abel.
Forgive us, if we continue to justify our cruelty with our labors, if we legitimize the brutality of our actions with our pain.
Forgive us for war, O Lord. Forgive us for war, O Lord.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, we implore You! Hold fast the hand of Cain!
Illumine our consciences;
May our will not be done;
Abandon us not to our own actions!

Stop us, O Lord, stop us!
And when you have held back the hand of Cain, care also for him. He is our brother.
O Lord, put a halt to the violence!
Stop us, O Lord!
Amen.

THE WAY OF THE CROSS - THE FIRST STATION

 THE FIRST STATION

PILATE CONDEMNS JESUS TO DIE

V. We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You. (Genuflect)

R. Because, by Your holy cross, You have redeemed the world.

Priest:

ONSIDER HOW JESUS CHRIST, after being scourged and

crowned with thorns, was unjustly condemned by Pilate to

die on the cross.

All say:

Y ADORABLE JESUS, it was not Pilate; no, it was my sins

that condemned You to die. I beseech You, by the merits

of this sorrowful journey, to assist my soul on its journey to

eternity. I love You, beloved Jesus; I love You more than I love

myself. With all my heart I repent of ever having offended You.

Grant that I may love You always; and then do with me as You will.

Our Father…

Cuius ánimam geméntem,

contristátam et doléntem

pertransívit gladius

Through her heart, His sorrow sharing

All His bitter anguish bearing

Now at length the sword has passed

Chaplet of the Holy Family

 The chaplet is prayed using a beaded chaplet chain or a rosary in the following manner:

  1. Start by seeking the presence of the Holy Spirit; “Come, Holy Spirit, renew my family in your love.”
  2. Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary and one Glory Be.
  3. On each of the 10 beads, say the following prayer after recalling the particular intention you are praying for:

    Mary, mother of faithful love; Joseph, gentle and humble man of God;
    Jesus, Son of Mary, Bless, Guide and protect the families you created.

  4. Close with the following prayer for families:

    Jesus, Mary, Joseph, model for all Christian families, I entrust my family to your care and protection. Bless each member of my family. Help me and the members of my family to love, listen to, support and accept one another. Encourage us to challenge one another to be compassionate, merciful and forgiving as we struggle with the difficulties of our lives.

    Guide us to seek goodness and holiness in our everyday choices, actions and attitudes. Encourage us when our faith is weak and when we fail to lead one another to Christ. Make our home a real dwelling place of peace, joy and love, where you are ever present among us. May we work to uphold each one’s dignity, integrity and unique contributions to the well-being and growth of our family. And when our time on earth is complete, bring us all safely home to you in the company of heaven. Amen.

Prayer for Home Protection Against Demons – Fr. Amorth

 Prayer for Home Protection Against Demons – Fr. Amorth

Dear Lord Jesus, please surround me (my family/friends/home) with a perimeter of Your Love and Protection throughout the day today and every day a hundred yards in all directions.

Lord Jesus, render any demons that are here, or should try to come, deaf, dumb, and blind. Strop them of all weapons, illusions, armor, power, and authority. Disable them from communicating or interacting in any way. Bind, sever, and separate them, sending them directly to the foot of Your Cross, without manifestation or harm, to us or to anyone, to be dealt with by you Jesus as you see fit.

May Your Precious Blood cover us, the Holy Spirit fill us, Mary’s mantle of love and protection surround us, St. Joseph guide us, the Holy Angels and Saints guard and protect us from all unfortunate events. Protect us from fire, theft, vandalism, flood, storms, ailments and accidents of every sort, distress, hardship, curse, and all untoward things. I ask this all in your Name Jesus, through Mary’s intercession, now. Amen!

St. Michael, St. Joseph, St. Padre Pio, St. John Paul II, and Mother Mary, pray for us!

PRAYER IN HONOR OF MARY’S NATIVITY

THE NATIVITY OF THE VIRGIN MARY
September 8, 2019

“Jesus is the mediator of justice; Mary obtains for us grace; for, as St. Bernard, St. Bonaventure, St. Bernardine of Siena, St. Germanus, St. Antoninus, and others say, it is the will of God to dispense through the hands of Mary whatever graces He is pleased to bestow upon us. With God, the prayers of the saints are the prayers of His friends, BUT THE PRAYERS OF MARY ARE THE PRAYERS OF HIS MOTHER.”
~ Saint Alphonsus Liguori

IN HONOR OF MARY’S NATIVITY
By Saint Anselm.

Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O sacred Virgin; give me strength against thine enemies, and against the enemy of the whole human race. Give me strength humbly to pray to thee. Give me strength to praise thee in prayer with all my powers, through the merits of thy most sacred nativity, which for the entire Christian world was a birth of joy, the hope and solace of its life.

When thou wast born, O most holy Virgin, then was the world made light. Happy is thy stock, holy thy root, and blessed thy fruit, for thou alone as a virgin, filled with the Holy Spirit, didst merit to conceive thy God, as a virgin to bear Thy God, as a virgin to bring Him forth, and after His birth to remain a virgin.

Have mercy therefore upon me a sinner, and give me aid, O Lady, so that just as thy nativity, glorious from the seed of Abraham, sprung from the tribe of Juda, illustrious from the stock of David, didst announce joy to the entire world, so may it fill me with true joy and cleanse me from every sin.

Pray for me, O Virgin most prudent, that the gladsome joys of thy most helpful nativity may put a cloak over all my sins. O holy Mother of God, flowering as the lily, pray to thy sweet Son for me, a wretched sinner. Amen.

PRAYER OF SOLACE

May Christ support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and peace at the last. Amen.

The Magnificat

Magnificat is also called Canticle of Mary or Ode of the Theotokos, in Christianity, the hymn of praise by Mary, the mother of Jesus, found in Luke 1:46–55... In Scripture, the hymn is found after the jubilant meeting of Mary, pregnant with Jesus, and her relative Elizabeth, pregnant with St. John the Baptist.The Magnificat, or the Canticle of Mary, is the song that Mary prayed while visiting Elizabeth.

It is also known as the Canticle of Mary in the Liturgy of the Hours, a special collection of scripture readings, psalms, and hymns that constitute what is known as the prayer of the church. It can be recited as well as sung.

The Magnificat provides great material for meditation on the Visitation, the second Joyful Mystery of the Rosary.Mary, in hastening to help her cousin, is focused on service to others. In this way she glorifies the Lord in reflecting by becoming the Mother of God she will help Him redeem us for our salvation in His Passion!

The Magnificat
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior; Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid; for behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed; Because He who is mighty has done great things for me, and Holy is His Name; And His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him. He has shown might with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has given help to Israel, His servant, mindful of His mercy - Even as He spoke to our father - to Abraham and to his posterity forever.

ASK FOR A MIRACLE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE

There is no magical prayer for a Miracle, there only exists a private conversation with God. God will perform miracles, but you must Ask and Trust in him and his will.
If you feel you are unworthy to Pray or don’t know how to pray – but still need help or need to be heard – you can do the following.
  • Ask for Christ’s help
  • Ask for the Intercession of Mary – the Mother of God
  • Ask for the intercession of the Saints
  • Ask for the Intercession of others to pray for your cause
  • Pray Yourself
Let’s Begin
1. Quiet Your Mind – Find a peaceful spot inside or outside. You want to find a location where you wont be distracted and can give GOD your full attention.
2. Take 13 deep breathes – close your eyes.
3. Make the sign of the cross
Say In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
4. Say the words that Christ himself gave us in teaching us how to pray…
Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
5. Apologize First for any wrong you have done in the past – be sincere.
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven, and the pains of hell; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life.

6. Recite this Prayer

Dear Lord of Mercy and Father of Comfort,
You are the One I turn to for help in moments of weakness and times of need. I ask you to be with your servant ______________ (Name of Person) in this    illness     (or Crisis). Psalm 107:20 says that you send out your Word and heal. So then, please send your healing Word to your servant. In the name of Jesus, drive out all infirmity and sickness from their body.
Dear Lord, I ask you to turn this weakness into strength, suffering into compassion, sorrow into joy, and pain into comfort for others. May your servant trust in your goodness and hope in your faithfulness, even in the middle of this suffering. Let them be filled with patience and joy in your presence as they await for your healing touch.
Please restore your servant to full health, dear Father. Remove all fear and doubt from their heart by the power of your Holy Spirit, and may you, Lord, be glorified through their life.
As you heal and renew your servant, Lord, may they bless and praise you.
All of this I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.  Thank You for hearing my Prayer.  Amen

The Prayer to the Sacred Heart

Oh Lord Jesus Christ, to Your most Sacred Heart I confide this intention {name petition}. Only look upon me, then do what Your love inspires. Let Your Sacred Heart decide. I count on You. I trust in You. I throw myself on Your mercy. Lord Jesus, You will not fail me. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Your love for me. Sacred Heart of Jesus, Your kingdom come. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I have asked You for many favors, but I earnestly implore this one. Take it, place it in Your open Heart. When the Eternal Father looks upon it, He will see it covered with Your Precious Blood. It will be no longer my prayer, but Yours, Jesus. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You. Let me not be disappointed. Amen
Now Talk With God like He is your parent of Parents!
You have gained the attention of the great God Almighty himself, your father, your creator… the only thing which is real, right now, at this very moment, the only thing that exists is — you and him — together.
Now talk to him… talk to him as if you are a child… for you still are. In the measure of eternity, your time on earth is but just a passing moment. In the Eyes of God, you are a mere minute older than when he first breathed life into you. You are still his beloved child.. his creation…. a part of him.
  • Ask him for your miracle!
  • Listen – Listen to his answer. Every Prayer is answered – sometimes just not in the way you expect.
  • Discern
  • Thank him for hearing your prayers
  • Accept his will – his decision
  • Tell him that you love him
  • Live Your Life Every Day as a good person
  • Help everyone – Harm no one – be beholden only to God and no Man. Be like Christ.

THE OUR FATHER PRAYER

THE LORD'S PRAYER
(THE OUR FATHER)

The Lord's Prayer, also known as the Our Father, was composed by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. This magnificent prayer beautifully reflects the wishes of its Divine Author. Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount (pictured above) where it first appears in the Gospels (Matt 6:9-13): “When praying do not choose many words” (Matthew 6:7).

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the final line Jesus echoes His own petition to His Heavenly Father in John’s Gospel: “I am not praying that you would take them out of the world, but that you would preserve them from evil.” (John 17:15). Evil in the case refers both to the Evil One, Satan, and to the evils he brings about in this world. With the help of the Lord's Prayer we can better resist evil and prepare for Eternal Life with God in the world to come, in Heaven.
